through the railway network to most destinations. Inter City trains
to Preston connect with the local shuttle service giving a speedy
service to Blackpool.

Services operate to and from Blackpool throughout the year. Travel

Blackpool Airport is
situated only 2½ miles from the town centre and has a new
terminal building, capable of handling 350,000 passengers per year.
Scheduled services include daily operation to London Stansted, Dublin,

Majorca and Alicante.
